We're back from Las Vegas, and had a great time.  The highlight of the trip was the Barry Manilow concert at the Las Vegas Hilton.  We'd seen Barry in concert a couple of times, years ago.  Each time was from the rafters, and we needed binoculars to see the stage.  This time, we were eleven rows back, and in the center section.  Needless to say, the view was spectacular.  It was a great show, and we'd recommend it to anyone.  Click on the card to see the photo underneath.

There were lots of other sites to see in Las Vegas.  So much, in fact, we hardly saw anything.  After leaving D/FW Airport at 7:15 a.m. (CDT), we arrived in Las Vegas at 7:45 a.m. (PDT).  The flight was nice, even for C.  With three on our row, Cindy had someone to talk to during take-off, and didn't have any problems at all.  She may be a traveler yet.  The photo below was taken during the shuttle ride from the airport to the Las Vegas Hilton.  It's not often she's smiling after a plane ride!

This is reportedly the largest free standing sign in the world.
