Dallas & Dealey Plaza

Proving once again you don't have to travel far to have a good time, Roger, Cindy, Ben and Nicole took a trip to Dallas in March to see Body Worlds at the Dallas Museum of Nature and Science in Fair Park. It was the first time R & C had been to Fair Park since the mid-1980's. While the park still holds some of its charm, the drive is harrowing, and we probably won't be returning anytime soon. Body Worlds was an interesting exhibit, which drew mixed reviews from the four of us. Suffice it to say we've not seen anything like it before. Photography was not allowed in the exhibit, so you'll have to visit their website to have a look. We did take a few photos in the park; and here are a few of the favorites. |

After Fair Park, we took a ride over the Dealey Plaza, the site of the Kennedy Assassination. Although a lot has changed there over the last 44 years, the site still draws crowds. R is a long time JFK buff, and shot a couple of frames while he was there (pardon the pun).
